We’re Parker and Laynie! We’re high school sweethearts from a small town in Northern Utah. Parker works for a roofing company and Laynie is a nurse. We love eating ice cream, scenic drives on the motorcycle, lazy Sundays, and trying new things. In 2018 we took our first trip together to Cancun for our honeymoon. It didn’t take long for us to realize we wanted travel to always be a part of our lives. We quickly started doing all we could to get back to the world of travel. We researched and dove into the world of cheap flights and airline miles and we’ve been able to keep that priority in focus while traveling for free or often much cheaper than expected.
A large part of our love for travel stems from our love of trying new foods. It’s always been a big part of the places we visit. In 2020 this was all flipped on its head as Laynie was diagnosed with Celiac Disease. We worried it would be hard to experience new places in the same way we did before. Staying strong in our love for travel we were not about to let an obstacle get in our way. With a little bit of research and careful planning, these new experiences haven’t had to stop.
Fast forward to 2023 and we’ve been lucky to have Hadley join us in our adventures. For many years leading up to her, people told us it was good we were traveling before having kids because it doesn’t happen with them. Thankfully we’ve been able to prove them wrong. Showing her the world has only strengthened our desire to get out and see it.
With small effort and a little desire we truly believe anyone can travel. It doesn’t have to be expensive, difficult, or even scary. Book that flight, take that road trip, and do something new!
